It turns out that 2020 was both my best and worst year for painting. I was on quite a roll doing oil portraits, then Covid hit, the kids came home from school, Thane came home from work, and quarantine was an adjustment to say the least. We also were all struggling with strange health issues for months, so I didn’t do any art at all. But eventually I started toying around with paper art again, mostly because it’s mindless and soothing and it’s easier to manage than oils. It is therapy!
