We’re one day shy of December now, and I can’t believe that fall is coming to a close so quickly! The foliage here in Kansas was GORGEOUS. This is the first true Virginia-like autumn we’ve had in years, but it was a funny one. It felt like we went from a really hot September to really rainy October to what has actually felt like true fall weather in November… And now it’s slipping away just a bit faster than I’d like! But I’m loving the shorter days, the candle light, the sweaters, the open fires outside, getting to wear my favorite black beanie whenever I want, and all the hot coffee…thank goodness that last one is year-round. But before Christmas season is in full swing, I just want to share some photos from this favorite season of mine.
My goal is to live more mindfully in each season, to enjoy it more fully as a family, and to capture it with my camera. It helps me feel a little bit more alive and productive in this really blessed but often monotonous stay-at-home-mom gig. If you follow my feed on Instagram you’ve probably seen most of them already…forgive the repetition! There are a few new ones.
If you made it all the way down to here, congratulations! Hahaha. Thanks so much for joining me in this quiet little space. It’s hard to find the time, but I’m hoping to start posting more regularly again.
How was your fall?
